Asbestos certificate sale of home

The obligation to prepare an asbestos certificate for the sale of a house applies only to apartments and houses built before January 1, 2001. An asbestos certificate is made by a licensed asbestos expert who will do a site visit, prepare an asbestos inventory and then register it through Ovam's web application. The obligation will be further expanded in the future because by 2032 every owner will have to have an asbestos inventory. Thus, even when renting out the tenants can be informed with an asbestos inventory.
